Reports to: Metal Hardware Engineer Manager, Leathergood

Location: Scandicci, Florence, Jimmy Choo Florence

Job Purpose

The candidate will work within the Florence office and will be included in a training and operational field course dedicated to the development and industrialization of metal accessories for Leathergood of the brand.

The candidate will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the business processes of a luxury goods brand, in a challenging and growing environment.

This position is a direct report to the Metal Hardware Engineer Manager, Leathergood and will be involved with the daily activities of the Metal Hardware Dept.

Main responsibilities include:

• Support Metal Hardware Engineer Leathergood dept in daily operational activities
• Backoffice management
• Support in managing the physical archive of metal accessories
• Support in product codings
• Support in updating process progress files
• Communication with suppliers for discussion of specifications, trials, tests, and analysis/quotation requests

Competencies and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion business/fashion school diploma (product development or fashion management)
• Good knowledge of English language
• Able use of Office package (specifically Excel)
• Excellent organization, accuracy and attention to detail
• Predisposition to Team Working
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities
• Previous experience in accessories world/product development (preferable)
• PLM System Knowledge
