As Legal Counsel, you play an important role in supporting ABB’s E-mobility business and its related functions. You are in the lead to develop a good working relationship with the Dutch parent company of the ABB E-Mobility Italian subsidiary and lead both the local ABB E-Mobility corporate and commercial legal function. This role reports to the ABB E-Mobility Legal & Integrity Counsel, Europe.In this role you will be expected to support the ABB E-Mobility Legal Counsel, Europe including but not limited to drafting NDAs, assisting on reviewing of proposals, service level agreements, also drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including standardization of General Terms and Conditions, global agreements in relation to supply chain, and also provide comments and advice on such to ABB E-mobility’s European business partners under Italian law.This position reports toGroup Legal-Integrity SpecialistYour responsibilitiesSupport supply chain contract negotiation as well as general legal related issues relating to all ABB E-Mobility Europe projects in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, for example, Poland. This includes supply chain from the production site to the internal warehouses of the relevant legal entity.Support the Supply Chain in legal aspects of the international trade related matters (including but not restricted to: UN embargoes, export restrictions, classified goods);Conduct legal research on areas relevant to the ABB E-Mobility business in Europe.Coordinate E-mobility Italian business’s legal entities corporate governance, including but not limited to its Board, annual reports and AGM, and work with other functions with ABB E-mobility to facilitate any necessary business reorganization or any future Joint Venture initiatives.Analyze legal issues requested by the General Counsel of ABB E-mobility or ABB E-Mobility Legal & Integrity Counsel, Europe and the other Legal & Integrity Europe team members, and provide general legal advice, and support in conducting internal and external compliance investigations and due diligence in compliance with ABB policies. Deliver legal and integrity training.Deal directly in coordinating and advising internal clients and liaising and negotiating with external parties.Support ABB E-mobility’s Legal & Integrity Counsel, Europe in developing template contracts for ABB E-mobility Europe and assist in related trainings and/or communications.Provided support to ABB E-mobility Legal Counsel, Europe in litigation matters. Your backgroundBachelor of Law or Juris Doctor with a common law and civil law qualification required. More than 3 years qualification experience practicing commercial law, either as a private practice associate or as an in-house corporate legal counsel. Experience with contract law, consumer law, intellectual property, data privacy, digital legal expertise and litigation a plus.Having experience in similar industry or manufacture of goods and services would be an advantage.Fluency in English and Italian with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.Preferably someone with a practical mind-set, who has a proactive hands-on attitude, exposure to cross country collaboration or project coordination skills, and experience in multicultural environment.
