Licensing Category Manager Location: Breganze, IT Date: Nov 7, 2024 Employment Type: Full time Function: Marketing Description: At OTB Group, we are looking for a Licensing Category Manager who, reporting to the Licensing Director, complying with the Brand strategical guidelines and in cooperation with key stakeholders, will be responsible for the assigned categories management. While being the key actor in charge of maximizing and securing categories financial goals, she/he will be the project leader for the development of Home Collections and branded real estate projects, actively contributing to mid-term and long-term brand strategy. The role’s main responsibilities are: Support the arrangement and management of license agreements for the assigned licensed categories, fostering and enforcing the brand interests, while monitoring the compliance with contractual obligations. Monitor sales, track royalty income performance, Licensee AP obligations and run related business review sessions with partners as well as quarterly internal updates. Work hand in hand with licensing partner to ensure annual sales growth by developing effective strategies to foster both end consumers and contract businesses, securing the right tools/supporting initiatives for partner’s customers. Support Licensing Director in yearly budgeting process, constantly tracking actual performances’ adherence across relevant financial year. Prepare Business reviews for the assigned categories to CEO and Group Committees and third party’s meetings. Create and update competitive market analysis for all assigned license categories and identify new opportunities in living environment. Partner with interior design function for the development of branded real estate design concepts and projects, coordinating related works in alignment with agreed partners’ timelines. Manage product development calendar with licensees, coordinate all internal meetings with the creative team, ensuring the respect of deadlines and product launch deliverables. Work with Interior Design function to ensure best visibility of Home Collections within the network. Work closely with marketing teams (HQ Locals) to ensure the development of compelling marketing programs to be executed in synergy with activations. Ensure Living visibility during key design moments (i.e. Salone del Mobile, Art Basel…). Monitor Living collections performance across all direct channels and define consequent actions in cooperation with main stakeholders (where applicable). What requirements you need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Marketing studies is required. 10+ year experience as Licensing / Brand / Category Manager or similar roles, required. Fluent oral and written English and Italian. Expert technical skill proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI knowledge is a plus) and basic knowledge of web analytics. Advanced organizational skills and analytical mindset are key requirements. Business acumen paired with product sensibility, determination to achieve objectives, strong initiative and autonomy, excellent communication skills, ability to problem solving, proactivity and accuracy in organization/execution, flexible approach. Consistency in words and actions, integrity, professionality, and solid teamwork attitude are core bases to accomplish job mission.
