Posizione: Maintenance and Utilities Manager - Pharmaceutical IndustryPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Utilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all utilities and systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role is pivotal in ensuring the uninterrupted, efficient, and compliant production of aseptic pharmaceutical products for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory standards and a focus on optimizing the performance of all plant systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance Management:Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure the proper functioning of all machinery, equipment, and systems within the plant.Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize the reliability of critical production equipment.Coordinate and oversee corrective maintenance activities in a timely manner, ensuring that all equipment is restored to optimal operating conditions.Manage external contractors and suppliers for maintenance services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety standards.Utilities Management:Manage and monitor all utility systems, including HVAC, water systems, compressed air, electrical, steam, and any other critical infrastructure.Ensure that utilities meet the necessary operational standards for the aseptic manufacturing process, in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.Oversee energy efficiency initiatives to optimize utility usage while maintaining the highest operational standards.Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmaceutical regulations, including GMP, FDA, EMA, and other local and international standards.Manage the documentation of all maintenance activities, ensuring records are complete and up-to-date for audits and inspections.Act as the point of contact during regulatory audits for utility and maintenance-related matters.Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and train the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Schedule and assign work to team members, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation to meet production requirements.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:Lead troubleshooting efforts for utility and equipment issues, ensuring quick resolutions to minimize production disruption.Proactively identify potential problems and implement corrective actions to avoid future equipment failures.Budget and Cost Control:Manage the maintenance and utilities budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of operation.Monitor and control costs associated with repairs, spare parts, and outsourced services.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or a comparable technical experience.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance and utilities management within the pharmaceutical or a highly regulated manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, particularly aseptic production.In-depth understanding of GMP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.Proven experience in leading and developing maintenance teams.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with senior management.The Maintenance and Utilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the continued safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality aseptic pharmaceutical products for our customers.Place of work: Liscate (MI)This announcement is addressed to both sexes, pursuant to laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to people of all ages and all nationalities, pursuant to legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.By applying for this announcement, you authorize the processing of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 - "Code regarding the protection of personal data" and art. 13 GDPR 679/16 - "European Regulation on the protection of personal data".
