We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Maître for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens.The Maître is responsible for overseeing the dining room operations of our Restaurant Trattoria sull’Albero, ensuring exceptional service, and creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating reservations, and maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff.Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus.Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.Train and mentor staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.Ensure that the dining room is clean, organized, and properly set up before, during, and after service.Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.Monitor service quality and provide feedback to staff to maintain high standards.Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, wine list, and daily specials.Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the dining room.Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.Candidate profile:Proven experience as a Maître or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service.Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional customer service skills.Fluency in English is requested.Details of the offer:Full time, seasonal contractLocation: Chiusdino (SI), ItalyPeriod: April 2025 – November 2025We offer a competitive package, food and accommodation included.
