Position Summary:

The Manager of Field Operations reports directly to the Director of Field Operations and uses skills as a seasoned, experienced intercollegiate athletics professional with a full understanding of industry practices and campus policies and procedures to plan, administer and coordinate the daily operations for several events. Resolves a wide range of issues of diverse scope and complexity. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Must have experience managing full-time and part-time staff. The Manager of Field Operations should be experienced in game day management as it pertains to field operations care pre, during and post-game.

 2-3 years’ experience Game day management for a college or professional sports team as it pertains to field care pre, during and post-game. • 2-3 years’ experience in staff management
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Experience managing infield skin in a warm climate Experience in game day management for a college or professional sports as it pertains to field care pre, during and post-game. Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener. Thorough knowledge of program activity and best practices.
Preferred:
Management of field care budget
Special Conditions Required:
Must work some nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
