We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager Fund Accountant Alternative Investments . Reporting to the European Head of Fund Services , this full-time and permanent position can be based in Germany or Luxembourg and offers the possibility of joining a regional European team, while taking responsibility for the growth of our German alternatives funds business.

Key responsibilities:

• Key contact person for fund clients
• Growing a local team of specialists, supported by our Global Service Center (GSC)
• Preparation of annual financial statements and reports
• Preparation of advance VAT returns for real estate funds
• Participation in the design, implementation, and optimisation of new processes

Key requirements:

• Solid knowledge of accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements for fund structures
• Experience in dealing with external service providers and customers
• People management skills ideally in a multi-national environment
• A strong analytical mind when evaluating complex issues
• Tax accounting an advantage
• Very good communication skills in both spoken and written German and English are a must
• Loyalty and integrity
• Self-motivation and empathy
• Successfully completed training as an accountant or equivalent
