RINA is currently recruiting for a Material Management Specialist to join its office in VIGGIANO (Potenza) within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The Principal Site Operations Specialist is a senior leadership role with significant responsibilities in overseeing and optimizing site operations. This individual's expertise in safety, quality, and project management is crucial for achieving project goals efficiently and safely. Leadership, strategic thinking, and advanced problem-solving skills are paramount for success in this role.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Materials for Oil and Gas Projects.
  2. Identifying the best technical and economical solutions for materials.
  3. Ensuring material integrity in compliance with international standards, company specifications, and engineering best practices, including corrosion and cathodic protection.
  4. Design and supply specifications of systems and equipment parts.
  5. Managing project and operations related to materials management.
  6. Selection and definition of inspection requirements for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural materials.
  7. Selection and definition of supply conditions for materials, including tracking, storage, and packaging.
  8. Ensuring overall material integrity, including corrosion risk assessment and materials verification.
  9. Review and approval of design and supply specifications, ensuring they meet project and industry standards for safety, reliability, and operability.
  10. Supporting project and operations teams in materials management, stock management, and discrepancy procedures.

Education

High School Diploma or GED in General Studies or equivalent.

Qualifications

  1. Extensive experience in construction management, including leadership roles.
  2. Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
  3. Technical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  4. Familiarity with construction technologies and industry practices.
  5. Understanding of relevant regulations and safety standards, including OSHA.
  6. Certification in safety management or related training.
