Italdraghe products are suitable for a wide range of applications and sectors such as maritime, metallurgical, mining, coal, building materials and renewable energy.ROLEThe candidate will be responsible for designing and drawing dredgers, dredging components and marine equipment, studying new dredging solutions and supporting in the preparation of estimates. The successful candidate has previous experience in the job at a dredging company, naval or operating in the engineering sector. Specific expertise is required in the technical/economic evaluation for the selection, sizing and management of dredging equipment.ResponsibilitiesIdentify the technical characteristics of the mechanical system to be designedCreate rough drafts and designs for prototypesGenerate 2D and 3D drawings using CAD programsModify the initial design according to the results of analysis, tests and simulations on prototypesComplete the technical project in detailCreate technical sheets and documentationDefine the production process of the designed mechanical system or componentFollow the product industrialization phasesLiaise with engineers, technicians and other professionals to improve the productDevelop the project within the predefined schedule and objectivesProfessional ExperienceDegree in naval or mechanical engineeringLanguages: Spoken and written Italian.
