Job Description

Role: Network & System Administrator - TELECOMMUNICATION

Location: Rome (hybrid)

Responsibilities

1. Installation, configuration, and hardening of Linux and Windows servers.
2. Installation, configuration, and hardening of virtualization systems.
3. Installation, configuration, and hardening of web servers and application servers.
4. Development and customization of Nagios scripts for monitoring servers, applications, and databases.
5. Configuration and management of Cisco, Juniper, Nokia network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
6. Network activities including switching, routing, network layer, and IP addressing.

Requirements

1. Degree/diploma in technical computer science disciplines.
2. At least 2 years of experience in the role.
3. Skills in Linux servers (e.g., CentOS, RedHat, Oracle) and Windows.
4. Experience with virtualization using VMware and/or Proxmox.
5. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
6. Basic networking knowledge: IP, switches, routers, VLANs.
7. Excellent command of Italian.
