Hesse ministry of the Interior and for Sport The Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sports has a vacancy in Department VII " Cyber and IT Security, Administrative Digitization" for the next possible date. Officer position (m/f/d) in the reporting office HessenGegenHetze with a focus on method development for securing and analyzing toxic social media content in Department VII 12 " Hessen Cyber Competence Center (Hessen3C)" to be filled. The Hessen CyberCompetenceCenter (Hessen3C) is the central competence center for the cooperation of state authorities for cyber security in Hessen. In particular, it has the task of increasing security in the state's information technology, warding off cyber-specific threats, increasing the efficiency of the fight against cybercrime and advising Hessian administrations and companies. In Hessen3C, cybersecurity specialists from the state's Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Hessian police, and digital economic protection work together to provide centralized, cross-organizational cybersecurity expertise and support services. As part of the Hessian state government's #HESSENGEGENHETZE action program against right-wing extremism, violence and hate speech, Hessen3C operates the HessenGegenHetze reporting center, which actively combats hate speech on the Internet. The scope of duties essentially includes: Documentation, validation and pre-assessment of reported posts and comments from social networks according to extremist and criminal law aspects. Analysis of professional trends, research findings and policy frameworks related to aggressive language and fake news. Create reports, presentations, maps, or charts based on news stories or own research and analysis Application and further development of methods and tools in the area of responsibility Participation in the consultation of political decision makers Participate in/lead expert workshops, conferences and events. You bring: A completed or about to complete degree (diploma /Master) in computer science, technical computer science, IT security, IT management, administrative or business informatics or A completed degree (diploma / master's degree) in another suitable field with relevant professional experience in digital forensics, multimedia forensics or data analysis and processing. A very good verbal and written language skills, including English. A high ability to work under pressure, a good grasp, flexibility and initiative An independent and self-reliant approach to work and strong cooperation and communication skills.
