POSITION SUMMARY

The Operational Excellence Junior will simplify and improve processes to meet or exceed business and customer expectations, she/he will manage complex and cross-functional projects contributing to the overall business strategy, inside the Operational Excellence Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Primary duties of this position are:
Cooperate for Continuous Improvements Program (Operational Excellence) to achieve short, medium and long – term targets according to the Company strategy.
Apply process improvement tools such as Lean on all product lines installed on the site, in harmony with processes specs. and quality standards, this includes working with leadership to drive lean daily crossfunction engagement
Identify and share best practices across the Corcym organization.
Availability to drive the assigned projects and being responsible for the achievement of operational and financial results, monitoring the costs, time, resources budget, requirements and deadlines of the project.
Work closely with peers of Manufacturing Engineering team, Production Managers and other Departments (R&D, Quality and Regulatory) in order to meet the assigned goals.
Perform validation of processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) and processes risk analysis in compliance with Medical Devices Regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

The following knowledges are necessary, listed in order of importance:
- Good technical knowledge in manufacturing KPI and processes of machining and assembly operations
- Good knowledge in SPC tools (Minitab/Statgraphic), route causes analysis and problem solving techniques
- Good knowledge of validation and verification techniques (Test Plan, Test Report, FMEA)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory
The following requirement could be considered as a plus:
- Good knowledge of Six Sigma principles (green belt certification or black belt is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Medical Device manufacturing regulations
The following soft skills are necessaries:

- Able to foster teamwork and collaboration inside and outside the teams
- Analytical Aptitude
General requirement:
- Driving license
- Common use software (Office Suite)

EDUCATION

University Degree or High School Diploma in Engineering or other technical discipline, with proven expertise in the concerned fields.
Green/Black Belt in Six Sigma certification is a plus.


EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of experience facing problematics related to Manufacturing Technologies and Process Validation, experience in Medical device manufacturing, food or pharma is not mandatory, but it is considered a plus.
