Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Based in Galbiate, Italy, the Operations Controller reports directly to the Head of Corporate Controlling (solid line). Responsibilities will include the following but are not limited to:

Actual performance analyzing compared to budget and rolling forecast

Action statement – gap to close measures

Bill of Material (pre/post) analysis

Support for finance dept. (month closing / variance management)

Control and optimize business processes

Creation and updating of the process documentation

Setting of basic data and work preparation in PSI

Item & Product calculation including machine Pre & Post Calculation

Act as PSI & Business Application super user ASSMG

Participation in definition, conception, and timely implementation of Business & ICT projects

Monitoring, troubleshooting, and securing the infrastructure including the network

1st level support for ICT infrastructure

Amongst others, the Operations Controller will interact with the following stakeholders on a regular basis:

CFO, SSM Group

Head of Controlling, SSM Group

Plant Manager, SSM Italy

Your Qualifications

In terms of the performance and personal competencies required for the position, we would highlight the following:

Degree in Business Administration or Business Information (Master level)

3+ years’ work experience in an international manufacturing environment. Experience acquired in a Mechanical Engineering / Capital Goods / Automotive Supply Industry Company is an asset (especially machines with small series)

Substantiated professional experience with profit, goal and performance responsibility over a large part of the value creation chain in the technical industry in an international environment

Solid experience in change management in production (restructuring, cost saving, etc.)

Solid experience in Project Management (incl. agile Methods)

Experience in planning and controlling of an international production network

Strong communication skills and high-level English proficiency, German, or Mandarin is an advantage
