Position Summary As a Patent Lawyer you will be responsible in developing and maintaining a strong bridge between the legal and business teams to protect Vertiv's IP. We are looking now for a colleague to join our team in Padova, Italy . What you'll do? As a key team player, your responsibilities include: Advising business leaders regarding IP risks with respect to MA activity; Collaborate with RD regarding the protection of newly generated IP; Work closely with marketing and sales teams to identify IP monetization opportunities; Conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and landscape searches; Overseeing the prosecution of patent applications; Advising the company in the development and implementation of IP strategies to support the needs of individual business units; Conducting competitive IP due diligence; Effectively managing outside counsel to achieve positive outcomes; Drafting and negotiating technical agreements, including licenses, joint development agreements, technology agreements, and non-disclosure agreements; Collaborating closely with other legal department colleagues and functional support groups to provide legal advice and counsel. Bring your passion and expertise with: Qualification / Degree in Law Minimum 2/3 years of experience IT skills: Microsoft Office Travel within the EMEA Region, you might be requested to travel to meet other internal customers or to negotiate contracts with customers Language skills: English and Italian at an advanced level.
