pPermitting Specialist – Primary Secondary Permitting /ppSector: Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar PV, BESS) /ppLocation: Rome /ppRole Objective /ppTo lead and coordinate the acquisition of all primary and secondary permits required for the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, and storage systems) in Italy. Ensure full compliance with national, regional, and municipal regulations, including urban planning, environmental, and energy sector standards. /ppKey Responsibilities /ppPrimary Permitting:: /pulliManage the full permitting process for: /liliAutorizzazione Unica (AU) as a priority /liliPAS (Simplified Authorization Procedure) /liliDIA (Declaration of Start of Activity) – depending on project type and size /liliPrepare and submit documentation for: /liliEnvironmental Impact Assessments (VIA) /liliEnvironmental screening / VIncA /liliConstruction permits /liliGrid connection authorization (TICA) /liliLiaise with national, regional, and local authorities: /liliMunicipalities, Regions, Provinces, ARPA, Soprintendenza, GSE, Enel/TERNA, etc. /li /ulpSecondary Permitting: /pulliManage all post-AU permits required for construction: /liliSite access and road works /liliEasements and agricultural land conversion /liliCivil works licenses, grid infrastructure approvals /liliCoordinate construction-related filings: /liliSCIA, CILA, building notices, etc. /liliSupport the construction team in managing: /liliPermit amendments ("varianti in corso d’opera") /liliCompliance during site works /li /ulpCollaboration /pulliDevelopment EIA ́s team Project Managers: for project timelines and feasibility /liliEngineering team: for alignment on technical plans /liliLegal Regulatory: for interpreting laws and supporting filings /liliCommunity Stakeholder Relations: for local acceptance and outreach /li /ulpRequirements /ppEducation: /pulliDegree Electrical Engineering /li /ulpExperience: /pulli3–5 years in renewable energy permitting in Italy (solar, wind, or BESS) /liliStrong knowledge of Italian permitting frameworks: AU, VIA, TICA, PAS, urban and energy law /li /ulpSkills: /pulliUnderstanding of national and regional permitting procedures /liliFamiliar with Italian environmental and urban planning codes /liliExperienced in coordinating with public authorities and technical consultants /li /ulpLanguages: /pulliNative Italian /liliProficient English for internal communication and reporting /li /ulpKey Soft Skills /pulliStrong organizational and time management /liliProactive and solution-oriented mindset /liliExcellent communication and negotiation abilities /liliAttention to regulatory and documentation detail /li /ulpWhat We Offer /pulliCompetitive salary and bonus structure /liliCareer development in a fast-growing international renewable energy company /liliOpportunity to work on large-scale, multi-technology projects across Italy /li /ul
