Your roleWe are looking for a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations excellence in our factory located in Castelgomberto which is a key part of the Italian market growth strategy. The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily plant operations and ensuring an optimal factory performance, accomplishing with policies and procedures. You will lead a cross functional team overarching all manufacturing functions to ensure stewardship, safety, quality, productivity and service.The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail oriented and able to lead the manufacturing team, serving as liaison between plant workers and upper management. This person must be dedicated to achieving compelling business needs embedded in our Affinity strategy and fostering a culture of full organization involvement and run to target mindset.What you will doBe leadership role model deploying vision, giving direction setting, fostering engagement, being shopfloor execution oriented and motivating organization.Promote manufacturing excellence behaviours committing on fundamentals safety and quality.Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customer’s expectations.Lead a cultural change towards manufacturing excellence boosting safety and quality fundamentals, organization capabilities and strong systems.Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.Share a trusting relationship with team and recruit, manage and develop plant staff to secure staffing and succession plan.Responsible for cost management and lead loss analysis process securing a year-on-year saving plan delivery.Lead organization performance system fostering accountability, run to target culture and optimizing processes.Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.Please submit your CV exclusively in English; applications in other languages will not be considered.Who we are looking for5+ years’ experience in a similar position in food industry.Higher education or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing related engineering.Experience leading people and cultural changes in factories with diverse profiles.Experience managing workers councils.Experience developing people careers.Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing (Black Belt preferred).Higher knowledge of quality and HS standards.Organizational and strategic planning skills.Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.Ability to create accountability and lead by example.English is a must, French and Spanish will be nice to have.Leadership and People Management.Personal Effectiveness: Self-management, self-confidence, and proactivity.Interpersonal Skills: Communication, open-mindedness, and adaptability.What we offerDiscount on Amazon products.Affinity University platform: Professional development opportunities for employees at different stages of their career, recognising different career paths.Celebration and fun.Our CultureWe cultivate an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity.
