Balance tactical execution for Direct Material projects while collaborating withcross functionalteams, (Quality, Product Line, R&D, ENG, Operations, Finance….), to execute on time, with best in class Quality and Cost.In detail, you will:Develop / deploy KPI’s and performance metrics for the Site Purchasing teamConduct performance appraisalsStructure and align team priorities to meet the needs of the businessDrive a continuous improvement cultureDirect Material cost controlStrategic / early supplier engagementCost modelling & cost breakdown roll outRFQ, sourcing activity, toolingcapacity / utilizationNegotiations, Contracts, Sourcing Board participationWork with Engineering, R&D, and Product Line to quantify investment required for components and technologyGlobal purchasing strategy deploymentRisk managementActive contribution in projects covering purchasing roles & responsibilitiesProvide various direct material tracking reports, cost/spend analysis, and sourcing updatesWho you are: University Degree required (Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain degree preferred)Minimum of five years of relevant experienceProject management, cost structure knowledge and analyticsExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenStrategic vision and tactical executionCapable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines with strong initiative and pro-active mindsetStrong decision making,problem solvingand analytical skills with particular attention given to detail and accuracyExceptional level of ethics, integrity, and judgmentAbility to manageworkingin a dynamicfast pacedwork environmentFluent in English.
