All about the role

Strategic role. The high visibility within the organisation will allow you to learn from the ground, the use of electronic within Electrolux and will have strong interaction across all Product Development to support the definition of the component strategy for the coming years.

What you’ll do

As a Category Manager, you are responsible to develop and maintain a competitive, supportive and high performing portfolio of suppliers to be utilized across all the product lines. Along with the product development you will drive the strategical road map for achieving greater standardization and innovative technology introduction. If you have a proactive, agile approach, great analytical skills, and can easily collaborate with others, this is your chance!

  • Lead your category strategically with the objective to leverage, promote complexity reduction, simplification, modularization, cost performance and innovation
  • Align with our product developments to define strategical roadmap
  • Work with the Product Lines and Business Area Category Managers to build and deploy a category strategy that aligns all Business Areas requirements.
  • Support and drive implementation of innovative digital tool for accelerating data management and consolidation
  • Enforce, where applicable Long-Term Agreements (LTA)
  • Elaborate and deliver your procurement strategy with 5 years vision

Who you are

  • Master degree in Electronic Engineering or a proven know-how in the area of Electronics is mandatory
  • Experience in display technology, IOT is a plus
  • 5+ experience with Direct Purchasing of technical components, with an international exposure
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships, including relationship building, performance, development and integration
  • Knowledge of supplier processes and cost drivers methodology
  • Experience in communication to Top Management
  • Proficient level language skills in English. Italian, German or Chinese would be a benefit

You will be based at the Susegana Plant Location, our administrative office located in Santa Lucia di Piave (Treviso, Veneto, Italy).
