Procurement (Energy/Photovoltaic Sector) On behalf of a fast-growing company operating in the energy and photovoltaic sector, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join and strengthen the Procurement function in Italy. This role is positioned within a dynamic and evolving environment, where Procurement is increasingly playing a key role in driving business decisions and generating value across the organization. Key Responsibilities The role will involve both operational and strategic activities, with a progressive shift toward higher value-added responsibilities: Manage and develop the supplier base, fostering long-term partnerships beyond pure negotiation Lead supplier negotiations and monitor vendor performance Analyze data and develop structured reporting to support decision-making processes Monitor market trends and sourcing dynamics Support the definition and implementation of purchasing strategies and cost optimization initiatives Collaborate closely with technical departments, particularly on electrical components Interface directly with top management, reporting to senior leadership Requirements: Previous experience in Procurement / Purchasing, ideally within technical or industrial environments Solid knowledge of electrical components (mandatory) Nice to have: experience or exposure to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and energy storage solutions Fluent English (mandatory) Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel or equivalent) Analytical mindset, structured thinking, and continuous improvement approach Soft Skills: Strategic mindset with the ability to move beyond purely operational tasks Strong understanding of market dynamics Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Proactive attitude and willingness to grow into a more senior role What’s in it for you: Opportunity to join a fast-growing company in the energy sector Direct exposure to top management Structured career path with potential evolution into a broader Procurement leadership role Involvement in high-impact, value-added activities 1 day per week of remote working available
