The Production Engineering is daily looking for ways to produce our Daikin/Zanotti products as efficiently as possible. This is done by setting up new manufacturing processes and streamlining the production and logistical processes in close co-operation and regular communication with the various manufacturing departments. The Production Engineering Specialist is part of the Engineering team and reports to the Head of the Engineering department at the Pegognaga (MN) plant. The main activities are the following ones:
searching for opportunities to improve the manufacturing of our products and our production lines, by continuously streamlining all processes along the total value chain. These improvements can be safety, quality, cost, delivery or environment related
total project management of the assigned improvement projects, starting from proof of concept to project planning and execution up till project closure (continuous PDCA)
specifying, purchasing, testing, implementing and cost controlling of the proposed investments
preparing the successful introduction of new products on our production lines, by taking part in the entire development process
setting up all required processes for a proper product launch
proactively thinking about improvements and innovations, close co-operation with the operational production department and consultation with the design, quality and purchasing departments are also part of day to day tasks
Education
Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Good knowledge of English is a must in order to easily communicate with your colleagues in an international context
Your profile
In order to carry out the above, it is necessary to have:
good knowledge of the main industrialization processes and production flows
lean knowledge or experience in an industrial environment in a plus

ability to interact positively with staff, to investigate problems and reports and to identify effective solutions
