Armi Perazzi S.p.A. , a leading company in the luxury shotgun manufacturing sector and part of the Czechoslovak Group , is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize its production process.
The ideal candidate will have a "hands-on" approach and solid experience in both the operational and strategic management of production departments involving CNC machining and manual assembly. They should also be capable of implementing and consolidating structured methodologies to ensure a more efficient and organized production management system, in line with the company’s growth and ongoing evolution.
The Production Manager will play a key role in interacting with the management team, actively contributing to continuous improvement strategies and technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities ensuring adherence to established timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Manage production staff (approximately 65 employees), promoting a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Introduce structured methodologies and processes to improve organization and production performance.
- Support the implementation and management of the new ERP system for production planning and control.
- Identify critical areas and implement corrective actions to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and propose solutions to optimize processes.
- Optimize the CNC machining flow and coordinate manual assembly activities, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with company departments (purchasing, logistics, quality control) to improve production process integration.
- Manage internal relationships and interactions with the parent company (CSG) and prepare reports in English.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory if compensated by significant experience).
- At least 5-7 years of experience in production management roles, preferably in environments with CNC machining and manual assembly.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and training operational staff.
- Ability to introduce more structured work methodologies and continuous improvement logic (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
- Familiarity with ERP systems or experience in ERP implementation projects.
- Ability to analyze production KPIs and define strategies to optimize processes.
- Strong knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Leadership skills, effective communication, and strong result orientation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage priorities in dynamic contexts.
