We’re looking for Project Development Engineers based in the Basilicata. The company you’d join is an Independent Power Provider, operating across Europe. Their Italian business is a small unit, but they have the support from the wider group for project development, financing and construction. This means they have a unique set up, with a tight knit culture for their Italian team alongside a more diverse culture within their wider team. You’d also have additional resource to rely on for knowledge and support. Their Italian business works across solar, onshore wind and BESS on a portfolio of over 40 projects in development stages. They also have several projects entering into construction this year, which is only set to increase throughout the coming years. This business model is repeated throughout the whole company, so the group in total has over 1GW of assets in construction or operation, a total pipeline of over 30GW and capacity for 3GW of projects. To support on this substantial pipeline, the team is looking for a development engineer to join their team in Potenza. You’ll have a varied role, but the core of the position will include:Searching for land opportunities, and other greenfield origination activities. Feasibility studies for early stage development processes, including technical studies and environmental constraints. Using land software to define the sites. Working with various stakeholders for the entire project lifecycle stages. Working on grid connection studies, and liaising with electrical networks to gain these applications.
