Protestant Director of Religious Education- $18-$20, commensurate with experience - €16.75-€18.60 EUR - Gricignano, Naples ItalyThe RoleDo you have experience in leading Protestant religious programs? Are you passionate about fostering spiritual growth in a diverse community?We are seeking a dedicated Protestant Director of Religious Education (PDRE) for the Naval Support Activity in Naples, Italy. This part-time role (maximum 12 hours per week) offers the chance to contribute to a fulfilling mission, working alongside a dedicated religious team to serve service members and their families.If you meet the qualifications and are ready to join our team, apply today to make a meaningful impact on the religious education community at NSA Naples.This is a part-time, 1099 contract position.Please note: Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide supporting documents, such as degree certificates, transcripts, and professional certifications.Position contingent upon contract award.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and deliver a Protestant Religious Education program for all age groups, from Pre-K to adults.Coordinate with the Command Chaplain and senior Protestant Chaplain to ensure the effective delivery of the program.Manage the Children's Church program during worship services.Maintain and organize classroom supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.Develop and manage annual budgets for the Religious Education program.Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for all educational programs.Lead and organize outreach events for the military and civilian communities.Coordinate and lead Vacation Bible School, managing logistics and volunteer participation.Ensure all volunteers undergo criminal background checks and training.Communicate regularly with parents about events, schedules, and expectations.The PersonWe are looking for someone with:At least four years of documented experience leading Protestant religious programs.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.A strong understanding of military customs and traditions.The ability to work independently, with good moral character and interpersonal skills.
