Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Prototype Workshop Operator to support the development of combustion engines in a hands-on, multidisciplinary environment. The role involves machining, casting, 3D printing, assembly, and basic electronic tasks to fabricate and test prototype components. The ideal candidate is a practical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic workshop setting.Key Responsibilities:1. Machining FabricationOperate manual and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, etc.) to manufacture precision components.Perform finishing processes such as deburring, polishing, and surface treatments.Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.2. Casting 3D PrintingAssist in the preparation and execution of casting processes, including mold preparation and metal pouring.Operate and maintain 3D printers for rapid prototyping of engine components.Post-process 3D-printed parts using finishing techniques such as sanding and coating.3. Assembly TestingAssemble prototype combustion engines and subsystems according to technical drawings.Perform mechanical fitting, adjustments, and alignment of components.Conduct basic functional tests on assembled parts to verify performance.4. Basic Electronics WiringAssist in wiring and installing sensors, actuators, and electronic components.Solder and crimp electrical connections when necessary.Support basic troubleshooting of electronic systems under engineer supervision.5.
