This is a position with grade 15.

This position reports to Supply Quality Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. You will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. The work model for the role is: . This role contributes to the Electrification – Smart Building Division, factory in Santa Palomba (RM). You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Defining quality requirements, quality gates, and the process control plan.
2. Designing quality tools to perform incoming inspections.
3. Defining quality procedures and being responsible for quality trainings.
4. Supporting the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality, and productivity in the value chain, to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability within a safe working environment.
5. Leading quality operations on a specific product family: continuous improvement on process and product, coordinating quality activities focused on achieving business targets within quality standards.
6. Managing non-conformity issues: collaborating closely with other functions and leading RCA according to DMAIC approach.
7. Being responsible for managing quality data and metrics according to ABB standards.

Qualifications for the role

• Enhanced knowledge of Statistical Analysis and software (e.g., Minitab). Knowledge of lean six sigma methodology is a plus.
• Innovative mindset with willingness to contribute ideas and passion for continuous improvement.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
