Valmont Solar, leader in the global photovoltaic industry, is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor who, reporting directly to the CPO, will be responsible for the following activities:

- Coordinate Quality Testing during prototyping and release (validation) of new products and components (mechanical, electrical, electronic): activities to be followed with internal departments (Development, Project Engineering, Supply Chain) suppliers and third parties up to the definition of the planning BOM

- Analysis of the tests carried out in the prototype and pre-series phases aimed at the industrial production of released components (PPAP, FAI)

- Identification and maintenance of standard Quality Control Plans a(QCPs) associated with the suppliers' production processes and for any internal processing, including pre-shipment requirements (packaging, marking, labeling). In the case of custom QCPs, management of notification phases with internal/external resources, suppliers, third parties and the customer up to com- Identification and maintenance of standard Quality Control Plans associated with suppliers' production processes and for any internal processing, including pre-shipment requirements (packaging, marking, labeling). In the case of custom QCPs, management of notification phases with internal/foreign resources, suppliers, third parties and the customer until complete approval of release on product delivery

- Co-ordination in the execution of Inspection Test Plans associated with assigned supply orders

- Identification of metrics for Quality Control process effectiveness analysis

- Management of NCs associated with production, installation and operation of released products and components for the benefit of internal functions responsible for maintaining relations with Customers (Project Execution) and Suppliers (Purchasing Department), including any retrofit activities to be carried out on what has been delivered/delivered

- Co-ordination, on behalf of the Purchasing function and internal Production, of the technical qualification activities of suppliers and sub-suppliers for all company product components

- Management of the company's internal instrumentation (identification, allocation, calibration/verification)

- Identification of technical regulations related to the characteristics of products/components and their application within the framework of quality control

- Obtaining, through the Department’s operational functions, reports resulting from the application of Quality Control Plans to be filed for internal use and/or mandated by law/contractual requirements.

Requirements:

- Degree in Engineering or other scientific field

- Specific role experience (Quality) of 10+ years in the mechanical manufacturing sector (preferably also in the electrical machinery and electronic control sector)

- Willingness to travel (travel rate up to 50% even for medium-term stays of up to 2 weeks)

- Ability to coordinate internal resources and external Quality Dept companies

- Ability to report to internal structures (Product Development, Project Execution and Supply Chain)

- Ability to liaise at all levels (technical and executive management) with internal departments, suppliers and third parties

- Fluent in English

- Domicile in Rome/Lazio

- Immediate availability
