QUALITY ENGINEER
1. Mission and key priorities of the role
As a Quality Engineer you will report to the Quality Manager of the plant, within the Business Unit Self-Adhesives and you will be supporting the Responsible and the team for ensuring that the company's products and processes meet the highest quality standards, in compliance with current regulations and company policies. This role is crucial to contribute in improving the quality management system, fostering a culture of quality across all business functions, from raw material sourcing to final product delivery.
2. Your responsibilities include:
Monitor and analyze business process performance through internal audits and KPIs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support the quality control team to ensure efficient control of production processes and finished products.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, errors, and customer complaints.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, Procurement, Logistics and Sales departments to resolve quality problems.
Support the development and implementation of plant projects to improve process control & quality and reduce defects. Work includes data collection analysis, development of processes, training, monitoring/audits, and the development of new test methods.
Planning and implementing corrective actions and long-term development for claims and internal quality problems
Support the Manager in preparing and presenting periodic reports to management on quality metrics and continuous improvement plans.
Participation in meetings with customers and suppliers to identify issues and solution
Maintain high level of communication with and between all teams
3. Who are we looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields. A Master's in Quality Management is a plus.
Previous experience in quality roles, preferably in manufacturing environments.
Organizational skills and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement techniques is an advantage.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
Professional proficiency in Italian and English, Spanish will be considered as a plus
