QUALITY ENGINEER
Involved in the Quality Management team, our Quality Engineer contributes to develop and maintain a built-in quality strategy capable to assure that the highest product quality levels are constantly and efficiently delivered, optimizing control activities and fostering processes improvement and issues prevention.
Responsibilities
- According to Group policies and guidelines, define the Quality Plans and methods for Quality check
- Collaborate in the finished product release, including any Certificate of Conformity or production report issue
- Promote the development and updating of the internal document system in order to ensure the customer requirements and Certification standards
- Actively cooperate in the management of Customer Complain and NCs related to incoming materials, semi-finished or finished products (root cause analysis, reporting and recording);
- Collaborate in the risk assessment in relation to processes/products and actively manages preventive/corrective actions by coordinating the activities;
- Collaborate in carrying out internal inspections in order to identify areas for improvement. Proposes and coordinates improvement actions, verifying their feasibility and tracking the results;
- Promote and supports the continuous improvement of Zobele products Quality, working on prevention, control and reduction of customer complaints, internal issues, scraps and overconsumption;
- Perform training activities of all relevant personnel on quality, the implementation of new processes/procedures and any relevant customer or legal updates, promoting employee awareness and involvement in the quality culture;
- Support the development of new projects/materials (defining quality requirements, identifying risks and mitigation plans, training personnel, issuing documentation, etc.) and collaborates in the validation;
- Promote the collaboration with the Suppliers, involving them in process/quality innovation initiatives;
- Support the Suppliers Qualification process, including, but not limited to audits and relevant action plans follow up;
- Support the analysis and reports of Quality KPIs trends.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English as a prerequisite
- University degree, preferably in technical disciplines (Engineering or Chemistry)
- 2+ years of experience in a technical area (preferably in Quality departments) of well-structured/certified companies
- Process analysis and mapping
- Quality standards (ISO 9000 family, GMP, IFS/BRC, etc.)
- Calibration
- Problem solving techniques
- Auditing (possibly supported by certificate)
- Document development
- IT tools (MS Office, SAP R/3 QM module)
- Team player
- Organizational skills (capability to follow-up action plans till positive conclusion)
- Negotiation skills
- Decision-making skills
- Communication skills
- Availability to travel
