We are offering a role for a Quality & Material Specialist, based in Aliaxis Casella (GE), reporting to the Plant Quality & Material Manager.

The candidate will ensure products are manufactured according to internal and external standards, regulations, and customer specifications, with a particular focus on raw materials. This role also involves assessing the characteristics and properties of raw materials used in the plant, both before and after processing.

Key Responsibilities

1. QC of raw materials before and after processing following technical specifications.
2. Lab activities related to material qualification, including processing trials.
3. Mechanical and functional testing to verify part compliance according to quality control sheets.
4. Recording tests and trials, and drafting reports.
5. Data processing and evaluation of collected results.
6. Tools management and calibration in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
7. Drafting of non-conformance reports using tools like FMEA, RCA, 8D to ensure continuous quality improvement.
8. Contributing to the development of written procedures and technical instructions for raw materials and QA activities.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

1. Technical degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering.
2. Experience in a similar role involving material and product quality control.
3. Training in QC systems.
4. Experience in laboratory activities related to plastic material characterization.
5. Fluency in English.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency with office automation tools.
