The RD Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the on-time execution of all development phases from brief reception to product collection and/or new product launch. Acting as a central point of coordination at the RD level, the role ensures smooth communication across departments and acts as a technical liaison between Marketing, Production, Industrialization, Regulatory, Sampling, Stability, Compatibility, and Tech Transfer teams. Main Responsibilities Ensure timely execution of all RD development steps in line with project priorities; Collect and clarify initial project data in collaboration with Marketing and/or Business Development to enable RD to begin formulation work; Set up, track, and report on the progress of RD activities for each development project; Analyze RD project workflows and propose continuous improvement actions; Organize and manage RD project folders, ensuring structured documentation from brief to product release; Prepare and centralize technical documentation (processes, specifications, formulas, test results) required throughout the RD development phase; Verify the accuracy of RD data and ensure effective internal sharing for project management; Monitor the planning and completion of all internal/external testing prior to launch (challenge test, safety testing, stability, pilot runs, compatibility checks, regulatory approvals...); Coordinate with suppliers or external labs for sample and data collection when needed. Ensure full alignment with Marketing requests from a technical standpoint; Support or contribute to the drafting of Product Technical Data Sheets; Assist in identifying and recommending appropriate formulas in response to briefs, balancing technical, industrial, sales, and regulatory considerations; Proactively contribute to innovation watch: analyze new product launches, monitor technical trends (new concepts, raw materials, textures...); Propose new innovative concepts or formulas to Marketing and RD; Stay connected with suppliers to gather insights on emerging trends; Participate in supplier workshops, raw material exhibitions, customer events, and trend-related activities. Attend and contribute to internal project review meetings; Raise alerts to management in case of project delays or risks to the timeline. Skills Required Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or technical diploma with over 10 years of experience in a similar role; Solid background in RD project management within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry. Strong understanding of RD processes and product development flows; Skilled in technical writing and RD project data management (raw materials, formulas, process data); Proficient in MS Office and RD-specific IT tools (e.g., COPTIS); Good knowledge of English (written and spoken). Attention to detail and accuracy; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong organizational and planning abilities; Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines; Team spirit, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
