Manager, Demand Management is responsible for regional demand management across all product families. The primary focus is developing a manufacturing forecast at the product family and material levels, that feed into MPS process. This position is responsible for developing unit-based forecast, and world class demand management processes and systems. This position will work with the commercial teams to define forecasting methodologies, understand market trends, and determine anticipated demand across product lines and manufacturing locations. Collaboration and indirectly influencing actions and decisions across functions is essential to success. Key stakeholder partnerships include leaders and people of all levels across the organization and especially with sales, operations, and IT.

Lead regional demand planning team to sustain and advance demand planning processes

Lead implementation of new sites and products into SAP IBP software and implement demand consensus process in those locations

Develop best in class demand management tools, practices & governance models across region

Analyze trends, track process adherence and forecast accuracy KPIs, implement root cause analysis and ensure continuous improvement in demand planning processes and methodologies

Drive high degree of data integrity within ERP’s

Facilitate and support Demand Consensus meetings (sales, product management, etc.)

Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts compared to financial plan

Support introduction of new collaborative tools to improve IBP/SIOP process efficiency

Regular meetings with Platform leaders to coordinate improvements and correct deviation from process

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related area

10 or more years working experience in manufacturing environment with focus in planning, supply chain, or equivalent experience

Proven track record leading continuous improvement activities

Proficient in data analysis, spreadsheets, and reading/understanding financial reports

Domestic and International travel required 20-30%

Preferred Experience/Characteristics:

Professional certification in Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or Supply Chain Management (CSCP)

Prior experience leading a team

Hands-on experience with SAP’s IBP tool

Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP or Oracle

Strategic and innovative thinker

Project Management – applies a disciplined process for planning, organizing and controlling work

Planning - develops effective plans to support long-term business objectives

Demonstrates strong influencing and collaboration skills

Strong communication skills; able to communicate with diverse groups and individuals at all levels across different locations and functions
