Hyatt Regency Rome Central is seeking a motivated Reservation Agent to join our pre-opening team.

The role will report to the Reservation Manager.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5 star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Handle individual and group reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms
• Enter and update bookings accurately in the hotel reservation system (PMS/CRS)
• Ensure all guest information and preferences are correctly recorded and communicated to the relevant departments
• Manage availability and apply rate strategies as directed by Revenue and Sales teams
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, providing information about the hotel, room types, services, and special offers
• Maintain accurate records of cancellations, amendments, and no-shows
• Upsell rooms and services when appropriate to maximize revenue
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality

Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience in a reservations or front office role within the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (Opera Cloud)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• A proactive and guest-oriented mindset
