Main Purpose:The Resort Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Resort and Private Villas assisting and substituting the Cluster General Manager. He/she is passionate about the hospitality business and has the ambition to grow professionally. He manages to exceed internal and external guests’ expectations.Reports to: Cluster General Manager, Sicily.Main responsibilities:Achieve sales and profit targets;Achieve quality targets;Recruit, coach and monitor line management;Meet and greet customers;Deal with customer complaints and comments;Address problems and troubleshoot accordingly;Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;Deal with contractors and suppliers;Ensure security is effective;Carry out inspections of property and services with consistency;Supervise the Verdura Private Villas and coordinate the Villas Manager;Promote and market the business within and outside the Company;Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditure;Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;Any other objective as determined from Cluster GM.We offer:Permanent contract according to C.C.N.L. Modifies behaviour to accommodate for certain individuals, situations and different tasks.Personal and team development: Seeks opportunities to learn and to develop themselves and others in order to add value to the performance of the department and hotel.Business awareness: Understands the direct connection between day-to-day service delivery and how it impacts departmental, hotel and company success.Service excellence: Delivers service standards, which consistently exceed guest expectations.Technically skilled: Demonstrates and understands job requirements and displays the technical skills and knowledge required to perform job well and in line with the departmental SOPs.Other requirements:At least 4 years of experience as Hotel Manager in 5 Star Deluxe Hotels preferably in resorts similar to Verdura;Preferable degree in hotel management;Excellent leadership skills and decision making;Experience in running multi FB outlets, front of house, sport facilities, Golf, Spa and maintenance;Evidence of self-development through courses, conferences, workshops;Knowledge of HS provisions as per national rules;Knowledge of Revenue Management;Excellent financial understanding:- Analytical thinking;- Experienced in budget and forecast processes;- Experienced in balancing expenses and costs vs forecast;Proficiency in English and Italian;Proficiency in a third language is preferable;References.Please apply by forwarding your CV with full details and enclose the approval to process the personal data according to local privacy laws and standards (d.lgs. 196/03). #J-18808-Ljbffr
