The Opportunity
Join our Merchandising team in Brugherio (MB). We are looking for a “Planner (Fashion)” - maternity cover full time role.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between Buyers (Fashion category) and Broadcasters, ensuring the long-term profitability of airtime and products and maximizing sales opportunities in the short term.
This will involve in-depth demand and sales analysis to determine the optimum strategy for Brands/products implementing them on all our platforms in order to achieve company Sales, Inventory and Margins targets.
Your Impact
Reporting to the Planning Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
Maximizing Sales & Margins:
Strategize items to maximize sales & margins on all the QVC platforms.
Identify opportunities including pricing promo, installment payments and free shipping.
Monitor and review sales performance.
Manage Fashion and cross-category Multiplatform campaigns.
Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans.
Stock Management:
Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal.
Analyze item performances and determine next actions such as re-orders, promotions and return to vendor.
Identify opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory.
Reporting:
Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap campaigns.
Forecast with high accuracy sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process.
Build and explore/understand reports to get insights in order to update Brand/product strategy during the year.
What you bring:
At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock management.
Excellent knowledge of Excel.
Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Strong analytical skills.
