Role
Toscotec has an opportunity for a Safety and Risk Analysis Engineer to join the Engineering Area in our Marlia plant. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and UNI EN 12100 and will be able to ensure that all our machines and equipment comply with European safety standards.
As a Safety and Risk Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting detailed risk assessments for all machines and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and UNI EN 1200.
Developing and implementing safety measures to reduce identified risks.
Collaborating and coordinating external engineering firms, experts in risk analysis, that support the company in the evaluation and drafting of the technical file.
Collaborating with design and production teams to integrate safety solutions.
Collaborating with sales and spare parts department to identify a certification strategy for partial machine and/or plant rebuilds.
Editing draft risk assessment reports and compliance documentation.
Providing safety training and support to employees.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have proven experience in risk analysis and machine safety.
Have a thorough knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and UNI EN 12100
Be available to travel for business trips
Be a good team player
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Display good communication skills with fluency in English and Italian
Qualification
Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical Knowledge
