The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in technical sales with strong negotiation skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Selling Material Handling Solutionsand providing excellent levels of customer service to businesses in a wide range of industry sectors.
Nurture relationships with existing customers and understand their future requirements through regular visits and communication
Identify target accounts and developing relationships with new prospect businesses
Carry out detailed site surveys and identify equipment specifications
Create comprehensive proposals and share your findings with customers through meetings and presentations
Manage all aspects of the administration process relating to a truck order
Upsell Maintenance Agreements for their operation
Develop new sales leads
Reach Monthly Targets
CANDIDATE PROFILE
At least 3 years’ experience in a technical sales role preferable, or a seasoned proven sales background
A strong commercial, customer focused and analytical mind-set with experience in developing and providing customer solutions
A technically inclined individual, displaying interest for the industry
Professional communication skills, confident at presenting, good attention to detail
A team-player with a positive approach, drive and able to work on own initiative
Proven track record in sales with a high closing rate and implementing a sound Field sales strategy to generate more leads and opportunities
Strong negotiation skills and an ability to develop a solid business argument
Impeccable planning and organizational skills
Bilingual in English and Maltese
Target Driven, achieve results, motivated to overachieve and excel
An availability to travel for training purposes as and when required (Subject to current restrictions)
Adhering to and working to the automotiveMaterial Handling industry standards
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes
A clean police conduct
Valid driving license
