Description
We are looking for a Senior Buyer based in Milan in order to join our Business Unit Grid Integration , which is specialized in electrical substations, power quality solutions, hvdc connections and eMobility. This person will focus on managing contracts for products and services purchase .
Your responsibilities:
Perform strategic sourcing work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing;
Establish supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs;
Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients;
Monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing;
Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends and define acceptable service levels.
Your background:
Degree in engineering or economics;
Fluent in Italian and English;
>5 years of experience in similar roles inside complex organizations;
Good knowledge of SAP is a plus;
Proactivity and excellent negotiation skills are required.
