Job Description

Lead the warehouse team of 20+ employees oversee the daily warehouse operations and coordinate the end-to-end warehouse process, from inbound management to stock handling, storing and order dispatching, and stock update in the ERP system on a timely basis.

Manage warehouse space in an efficient manner without blocking the pathway and ensure goods do not stack in over height.

Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly, safely and warehouse space is used efficiently.

To manage both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory records including all associated documentation and record-keeping for accounting purposes.

Regular checking the stock position and re-order level, send the requisition to supply chain, procurement considering safety stocks.

Conduct daily cycle count and the physical inventory of all items properly to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

Responsible for ensuring quality, quantity, and other specifications of all receivable items.

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and documents strictly and sincerely.

Ensure efficient and effective inventory management of warehouses.

Ensure inventory flow is recorded in every stage inside the factory.

Maintain FIFO strictly for material issues to production.

Ensure BIN Card update regularly for better inventory management in WH

Maintain and comply with the respective departmental S.O.P

Prepare and provide various periodic reports to the management.

Prepare stock report & face internal and external inventory audit yearly & half-yearly.

Monitor the storage facility and infrastructure both from inside and outside, locate damage and Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipments i.e Forklift, Power Stacker, Hand Pallet Truck.

Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse floor ensures good housekeeping, cleaning of warehouse areas.

Regular monitoring of the quality of imported material during storage.

Supervise the team of daily worker change with storage activities

Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.

Conduct warehouse GAMBA daily basis, address and resolve all EHS & audit concerns properly.

To Follow health & safety rules, guidelines and ensure proper safety of people and products in the factory warehouse/distribution chain.

Improve efficiency, productivity and ensure the best output from each employee.

Monitor daily attendance, Overtime, Leave of each warehouse employee and ensure 100% compliance on duty, working hours as per company policy.

Ensure best practice and performance standards to drive key performance indicators (KPI’s).

To carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the management.

Qualifications

Minimum Masters with at least 3 - 5 years experience in Warehouse must be in a Managerial capacity.

Very good communication skills in both English & Bengali and excellent computing skills are required.

Additionally, Leadership skills, Team building skills, Conceptual skills are required.
