Manufacturing and Global Procurement (MED ( South Europe

HSE is the department in Vestas Blades Italia, which leads, develops and maintains our focus on ensuring our continuous journey towards a 0 accident Culture with focus on ensuring compliance and a structure approach to reducing our carbon footprint locally. in Taranto

Responsabilities 

• Is Jointly legally accountable for Safety on site with Factory Manager 
• If factory manager not present then position is also accountable for security on Site 
• Accountable for Site is in compliance with Chemical regulations in Italy and Vestas
• Ensure that process for handling chemical are in place on site 
• Ensures yearly checks from local authorities for HSE topic are done on time and correctly 
• Accountable for Enablon ( internal incident management system) is operating on site and data being captured and evaluated in respect to Hazardous Observation, near miss, Medical treatment, LIFE, TRIR, LTI
• Accountable for environmental studies are preformed correctly in compliance and actions are taken to stay in compliance 
• Accountable for Workplace assessments incl. physiological assessment of working environment is done 
• Ensures correct root cause analysis on safety related concerns are done correctly 
• Accountable for lifting plans (Craning) adhere to standard 
• Chairs local Craning committee ensuring a uniform method of lifting on site is done and in compliance with local legislation and Vestas rules.
• Updates overall Site DM for Safety 
• Ensure 5S are correctly implemented on site with mgmt. Team members 
• Ensures Taxonomy for safety is updated and related documents are also updated 
• Coordinates the yearly and half yearly mgmt. review process 
• Accountable for correct review and assessment of PPE and set out guidelines for this 
• Supports mgmt. team during audits
• Ensures daily/weekly/ monthly/yearly followup for safety are scheduled and done correctly
• Responsible as Site security officer

Qualifications

University degree 

Previous work experience with HSE specially with Chemicals 

Used to work in a multicultural environment

Knowledge in ISO 14001, 45001 and valuable 27001

Team-oriented person

Self encouraged 

Very high on accountability
