Greenstone is excited to partner with an industry leading renewable energy developer & IPP with excellent financial backing with operational assets across Europe. These assets include wind, solar and BESS projects with the team actively growing the Italian portfolio of projects. As such they are looking to further grow their landmark team in Italy with a Senior Legal Counsel.

What you will do?

• Help support the wider business by negotiating, reviewing and drafting, general corporate contracts, EPC contracts, land options, lease agreements, grid connection agreements, PPA’s, O&M agreements and tender documents
• Provide legal advice on any development and construction activities
• Support due diligence processes and negotiate engagement letters with third party advisors
• Engaging with cross functional teams internally including engineering, finance, construction teams to assess risks and opportunities
• Managing relationships with external counsel on various activities and specialist advice
• Helping support the wider business by providing legal advice on regulatory matters in country/region
• Oversee projects to financial closure, including the review and drafting of loan agreements, security agreements, and common terms agreements, as well as coordinating with lenders' legal counsel

What we require?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Italian (other European language would be a plus)
• 8+ years PQE of with a focus on contract law in renewable energy or infrastructure
