Flexible and action orientated you enjoy variety in your role, you’re highly motivated and enjoy inspiring enthusiasm in others.About the role – Senior Manager (Sales and Operations):The ‘Senior Manager – Sales and Operations’ position is a key role in the management team reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will take an active part in shaping the future direction of the company. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and operations within the business, this interesting role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities which vary across the year due to the seasonal nature of the business.Sales – This is expected to be the primary focus of this role replacing our Sales Manager who is retiring later this year. This role will be responsible for leading the sales team, who are based both in the office and out on the road, to drive sales whilst ensuring great customer satisfaction and company profitability. This role will involve working with purchasing on future ranges and pricing and working with accounts regarding customer credit control etc. It will involve working with our diverse customer base from large wholesalers to small beach kiosks. It will involve overseeing tradeshows, including their organisation and set up as well as attending and selling at them. And all things sales related for the business.Operations – Whilst your main focus will be on Sales you will also oversee our established operations team. Areas of accountability include overseeing the operations of the sales/logistics office, warehouses, vehicles, health and safety, IT, carriers, external storage providers, quality control etc.Requirements – Senior Manager (Sales and Operations):EssentialSales Management / Operations Management ExperienceHighly motivated and able to generate enthusiasm in others, great team working skillsStrong organisational and time management skills, calm under pressureGreat verbal and written communication skills, proactive communicatorStrong IT skills, very confident using excel, and quick to learn new systems.Strong business acumen and analytical skillsResourceful problem solver unfazed by new challengesCurrent Full UK Driving License
