We are seeking a Senior Scientist in Drug Discovery to join the Early Stage Innovation team within the Global Research Development of Bracco. The position can be based both in Milan or Ivrea (TO).About BraccoBracco is an international Group active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures, and license and distribution agreements.About the RoleThe Senior Scientist (in Drug Discovery) is a member of a multi-disciplinary team having as purpose the evaluation of new technological opportunities and the execution of research projects.Key ResponsibilitiesScouting and evaluation of novel opportunities, landscape and SWOT analysisIdeation, prioritization and project proposal drafting including budgetingSupervision of projects and/or project’s tasks, meeting managements, and reportingLiterature review, scientific articles writing, participation to conferencesInteraction with internal stakeholders and external partners online and on-siteWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 5 years of experience as a senior scientist, post-doc, or similar roleStrong expertise in inorganic and organic chemistry, track record in medicinal chemistry, drug discovery and development, preclinical evaluation of new drugs.
