The Service Sales Area manager serves customers by selling service products and meeting customer needs, in the geographical area of responsibility (WEMEA). He or she serves existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.He/she maintain the customer relationship, ensures customer satisfaction and budget achievement.The Service Area Manager will report to the Head of Service Sales Filling & Packaging and will be part of the team Global Service Support Filling & Packaging. Your responsibilities and tasks:Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to local branches/distribution partners in the Area of responsibilityAnswer and respond to customer inquiries, needs and requirementsResolve and troubleshoot complex sales and services issues of customersDirect and oversee sales policies, objectives and initiatives of the organization in the Area of responsibility.Set short- and long-term sales strategies in the Area and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potentialEstablish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the Area of responsibility; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new productsDetermine annual sales plans in cooperation with Head of Service Sales by implementing the best marketing strategies, analyzing trends and resultsCoordinate and support local branches to define best route to market and implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plansResponsible for the implementation of sales supporting tools and concepts developed for service in his/her areas of responsibilityContribute on service portfolio development of Global Service Support Filling & PackagingMaintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitorsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesPlan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategiesManage, develop, coach and motivate the local branches sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achievedProvide on-the-ground support to local branches sales force as they generate leads and close new dealsMeet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with themContinually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accountsContinually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plansYour profile and qualifications:Mechanical/technical background ( aseptic filling/process business knowledge is preferred) Previous experience in similar role is preferredExcellent knowledge of English and Italian language (min. C1)Fluent in Spanish, French or Arab (would be much appreciated)Willingness to travel up to 15 days a month GEA is an equal opportunity employer.
