Description
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems within complex flight simulation systems.Review updates and bug fixes at subsystem level in collaboration with test engineers/test pilots.Support integration of data, updates, software, hardware, and component exchanges.Perform instrument calibration.Execute system power‐up and shutdown procedures, including functional testing.Conduct detailed fault analysis and carry out corrective repairs of components or systems.Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and related systems.Assist in diagnosing and resolving simulator and system issues.Record and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.Perform pre‐flight and post‐flight tasks on designated simulators.Conduct basic visual alignments.Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).Support refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.Complete administrative tasks as required.Work within a rotating day/night shift schedule, including some weekend shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical degree or at least 3 years of professional experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical field (e.g., technician or equivalent role).Extensive expertise in electrical engineering.Computer literacy (PC and/or mainframe architecture).Good knowledge of Italian and English, written and spoken.Strong practical and analytical mindset with robust troubleshooting skills.Ability and willingness to work day/night shifts and occasional weekends.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of avionics (not required).Experience with soldering and circuit board repairs.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
