Responsibilities: Plant Controlling: Oversee financial activities for multiple plants, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Dedicated Plant Support: Act as the primary financial contact for one plant, collaborating with plant management to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure cost optimization.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate plant performance metrics, including production efficiency, cost variances, and profitability. Provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Project Management: Support financial aspects of various plant-related projects, including new product introductions, process changes, and capital investments. Ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with plant management, shared services team members, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment on key business objectives.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in controlling, demonstrating your expertise in plant controlling, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Language: Native-level Italian language skills and strong English language skills (B2 or above), enabling seamless communication in our international environment.
Skills needed, to be successful in this role:
Excel Excellence: Proficiency in the Office package, especially Excel at an advanced level, allowing you to crunch numbers with ease.
SAP Savvy: Familiarity with SAP, a definite plus.
BI Brilliance: Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools preferred, giving you an edge in analyzing complex data sets.
Team Player Traits: Proactive, problem-solving mindset coupled with a commitment to confidentiality and collaboration. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with management and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to go on business trips: Availability for occasional international travel (approximately 10% of the time), enriching your professional experience.
