The B2B Payments and Lending team provides invoicing, working capital and payment acceptance solutions to Amazon Business customers, sellers and other small business customers across Amazon. We are part of the global Consumer Payments organization, who aims to delight our customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued and easy to use from anywhere in any way.
B2B Payments and Lending Credit strategy team is looking for a Sr. Credit Analyst to manage the Loss Mitigation strategy and recovery performance for the US based business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing recovery strategies to manage credit risk in the Lending portfolio with a balance of risk controls, track losses while identifying portfolio trends, evaluate and enhance risk processes, and develop underwriting and exposure management best practices. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented and possess strong credit management and loss recovery skills. The successful candidate will have a strong desire in innovating processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, primarily driving innovation on behalf of sellers and small business customers.
Key job responsibilities

Evaluate portfolio emerging risk trends, building new monitoring metrics
Contribute the success of the loss mitigation team by driving operational excellence;
Build new credit & loss mitigation strategies across the portfolio and individual customer sub-segments;
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and develop cross-organizational support for key initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Equivalent Experience
Robust analytical and excel skills, including the ability to be hands-on and dive deep into details, identifying root cause and propose solutions
Hands-on experience of working with data tools/languages such as SQL
Experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, or collections recovery for financial services, banks, or fintech companies
Experience in change management and driving adoption of new tools, processes, and decision support (i.e. scaling)
Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to articulate complex problems and cater your language to different audience in both verbal and written communication
Exhibits excellent business judgment and work with a structured approach to design, plan and execute
Results-oriented: Proven track record of on-time project/program delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with corporate/commercial credit underwriting
MBA and/or CFA designation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
