Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Control Plan Improvement and SAP management
  • Carry out supplier validation audits, support suppliers, and implement supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP)
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to define process parameters ensuring supplier process capability meets product and process requirements
  • Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality standards are met
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues
  • Conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions
  • Analyze supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Create correction action plans with suppliers to address process failures
  • Promote continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System Analysis, and PFMEA
  • Document inspection results accurately and support inspection and test status requirements
  • Assist the Quality Manager in monitoring and reporting supplier product quality and performance
  • Report on KPIs to ensure process adherence and prevent non-conformities
  • Support first-off sample approvals
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for new product development and modifications
  • Manage supplier problem-solving, cost recovery, and warranty indicators
  • Prepare reports and present progress to project teams and clients

Job Profile

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with good electronics knowledge
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality management norm
  • FMEA – basic knowledge
  • Professional supplier management skills

Skills, Capabilities, and Competencies:

  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication, cooperation, and negotiation skills
  • Project management skills covering quality, costs, and timing
