Check out our website for more information at cosmoimd.com.Key ResponsibilitiesStorage Data ManagementMaintain and optimize server and large-scale multimedia storage systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.Manage and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring data integrity and security.Oversee and maintain distributed storage solutions such as ZFS or similar scalable storage technologies.Implement backup and recovery strategies (e.g., Veeam) to ensure business continuity.Evaluate, recommend, and oversee cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) to support business needs.Infrastructure System Administration Manage and ensure the optimal performance of Linux/Ubuntu-based infrastructure, including servers, data centers, and networks.Configure and maintain high-performance network communication (e.g., 25G/100G networking).Support and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Monitor resource utilization, capacity planning, and performance optimization.Plan and oversee hardware selection and infrastructure upgrades based on scalability and performance needs.Provide technical support, troubleshoot system and network issues, and minimize downtime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure for continuous integration and testing (CI/CD).RequirementsProven experience as a Systems Administrator, Storage Engineer, or Data Center Administrator, particularly in Linux/Ubuntu environments.Expertise in storage technologies for large-scale data management, particularly ZFS or similar distributed and scalable storage solutions.Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam or similar).Experience working with GPU servers and high-performance computing (HPC) environments.Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of high-performance networking and network communication protocols (e.g., 25G/100G).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience managing cloud solutions (public, private, or hybrid cloud).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation methodologies.Industry certifications in Linux, Infrastructure Management, Networking, or Cloud Computing.Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Spark).We support equal opportunities, without any discrimination;The research complies with Legislative Decree 198/2006
