Position: Systems & Security Engineer

For our Digital Infrastructure team at Gruppo, we are seeking a Systems & Security Engineer.

Datlas Group is a market player specializing in outsourcing Data Validation and Multichannel Communication processes. We offer cross-functional services and solutions to support information transformation processes to and from consumers. Our innovative offering leverages the complementarities and synergies of traditional and digital channels to create immediate dialogue between companies, suppliers, and end customers.

Our digital projects are utilized by major groups operating in Telecom, Media, Finance & Assurance sectors. These include advanced digital services, our cloud-native platform 'DOME', and AI and ML-based services.

Who we are looking for

A motivated individual eager to learn and seeking new projects and technologies. Our technology stack includes cloud-native technologies based on major Cloud Service Providers (AWS and Azure), two proprietary data centers in Reggio Emilia and Milan, virtualization systems based on VMWare clusters, virtualized networking (SD-WAN), and microservices architectures on Kubernetes.

• 5-7 years of experience managing advanced infrastructures
• Excellent design and implementation skills for systems and infrastructures
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Deep understanding of hybrid systems design and management (on-premise and cloud)
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Consolidated knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare)
• Solid fundamentals in networking and main network protocols
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and native cloud architectures
