You can find out more about us on https://www.slb.com/who-we-areLocation:Saline di Volterra OR ScurellePart of SLB Well Construction, Saline Bits Product Center (SBPU) manufactures an extensive range of roller cone drill bits that provide superior drilling performance.Job Summary:The Tax Intern will gain experience in various finance and tax tasks within the team, and assists in managing activities related the Legal Entity (Smith Int’l Italia SpA).The positions report to the relevant Controller of the Center as member of the BOD and responsible of the Legal Entity reporting.Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.Typical Responsibilities and Duties:Develop extensive relationships with wider finance/Hub teams to enable good team working.Interface with Hub teams and with local tax consultant including Statutory Board of Auditors and Legal Advisor.Running reports in SAP/Oracle and support in account analysisSupport in VAT reportingSupport in WHT and VAT exemption requestsSupport in monthly analysis for EU Mandatory Disclosure Regime reporting.Monitor intercompany agreements and help to prepare new agreements as needed.Maintain tax residency certificate lists and manage renewal processSupport for digital archiving of tax documentsQualifications:Studying University Degree in Economics or equivalent, Master student will be considered a plus.Required Technical SkillsGood knowledge of MS ExcelNice-to-Have Technical SkillsKnowledge or interest in PBI or other BI toolsSoft SkillsFluent in English and ItalianAbility to interact with different level of the organizationEager to learn and demonstrate initiativeSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
